5. Ongoing Education & Support

This is an important area not to forget. We tell our clients these are lifestyle changes and not diet plans for a limited amount of time. We, therefore, need to provide them with ongoing education and support beyond the time that they may be seeing you on a one to one basis. How long the one to one coaching continues will vary by the client but during that process ensure there is an awareness of ongoing appropriate information and resources available.

This doesn’t mean you need to be continually providing information but signposting to appropriate independent resources as well as your own website for recipes, blogs, events, cooking classes, talks, lectures, groups, further education, courses, etc. is important.
